History of Shropshire Classics Club
Shropshire Classics Club was formed by a group of local classic car enthusiasts in 1993. They wanted to form a local club for all vehicle enthusiasts that could easily be affordable alongside mambership of owners clubs for their vehicles. The club welcomes enthusiasts of all types of older vehicles. First meetings were held at the Springfield off London road Shrewsbury, a venue now long gone. After moving due to the closure of the Springfield we held meetings at another couple of venues over a period of time but we are now long established at Bicton Club, Church Lane Bicton near Shrewsbury SY3 8ER Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month from 7:45 pm. Club nights range from general meetings, Quizzes, visiting speakers and club evening runs out. Once a year in summer we have the Birthday Bash Night to celebrate the clubs anniversary. Anyone is welcome to bring their vehicle along to this night. We often have upto 100 vehicles attending the night assembled on the playing field behind Bicton Club.
